Trailnotes is a collection of stories capturing the lifestyles of passionate mountainbikers from the Southern Hemisphere Mecca of Rotorua, New Zealand and the infamous trails of the Whakarewarewa forest. These stories of personal battles, commitment and passon to the sport of mountainbiking, illustrate both the individual and collective culture that these trails breed.

In September 2011 acclaimed graffiti artist Owen Dippie opened his Mount Manganui based studio and gallery space. This short montage showcases the work put in to get the space ready for opening.

On a wet blustery day in New Zealand's capital city Wellington, rider Rowan Falconer and filmer Nick Stevenson headed out to make use of the miserable conditions. Filmed on the infamous "Portal" trail located on a steep shale ridgeline, cut between 2 suburbs spitting distance from the middle of the city.
